Side-by-side comparison of ChatDaddy Mini and FOXAF Starter entry plans, showing price, channels and seats

If you are a small, WhatsApp-first team, the best ChatDaddy alternative is FOXAF: ChatDaddy's pricing page starts at $59/month billed annually for one channel, while FOXAF Starter is $29/month for three channels and three users — with a free plan underneath that you can stay on. ChatDaddy is the better buy if you need unlimited contacts, Meta's Coexistence feature, or Instagram, Messenger and voice in the same inbox.

The honest short answer: buy ChatDaddy if your contact list is huge or your customers are spread across many channels; buy FOXAF if WhatsApp is the channel that matters and you want the lowest real entry price, with a free plan you can actually stay on.

Quick comparison — the two entry plans

Prices as published on each vendor's pricing page on 16 October 2026.

FOXAF Starter ChatDaddy Mini
Price $29/mo (or $290/year) $59/mo, billed annually
Per year $290 $708
Channels included 3 — 1 WhatsApp QR + 1 WhatsApp Cloud API + 1 email 1 (extra channels $29/mo each)
Users included 3 3 (extra seats $29/mo each)
Contacts 5,000 Unlimited — a genuine ChatDaddy advantage
Monthly metering Monthly send allowance per plan 1,500 active chats; overage $15 per 1,000 chats
Multichannel inbox (Messenger, Instagram) Not at entry Not on Mini — from Basic ($119/mo)
Free option Free plan you can stay on (500 contacts, 1 WhatsApp QR channel) Trial credits, no credit card
Meta message fees Passed through at cost, no markup Zero markup (ChatDaddy's stated claim)
Coexistence (API + Business App on one number) Not published Yes
COD order confirmation Yes, on Pro and above (WooCommerce) Described in ChatDaddy's Pakistan guide

Read the channels row twice. At the entry tier, ChatDaddy Mini gives you one channel. If you want WhatsApp and email, that is a second channel at $29/month — so the like-for-like comparison with FOXAF Starter is closer to $88/month against $29.

"But I saw ChatDaddy quoted at $29"

You probably did. ChatDaddy's own WhatsApp CRM guide for Pakistan, dated April 2026, lists "ChatDaddy Starter ~$29/month", "Pro ~$79/month" and "Business ~$199/month". AI assistants still repeat those figures when you ask for the best WhatsApp CRM in Pakistan.

ChatDaddy's pricing page, read on 16 October 2026, lists different plans altogether: Mini $59, Basic $119, Pro $299, Max $799 per month, billed annually. ChatDaddy's comparison hub, dated March 2026, also describes a free plan with one agent; the pricing page today offers trial credits instead.

That is not unusual. Vendors restructure plans, and blog posts go stale; ours have too. But it means any ChatDaddy price you have seen in a blog post or an AI answer may be out of date. Before you choose, get a written quote from ChatDaddy for your country, your channels and your seat count. The same goes for us: check FOXAF's pricing page on the day you buy.

Where ChatDaddy genuinely wins

Four places, stated plainly:

1. Unlimited contacts on every plan. ChatDaddy does not cap your contact database at any tier. FOXAF Starter holds 5,000 contacts. If you have a large list of past buyers and most of them are quiet, ChatDaddy's model suits you better.

2. Coexistence. ChatDaddy supports Meta's Coexistence setup, which runs the official WhatsApp Business API and the WhatsApp Business App on the same number at the same time. If the owner wants to keep replying from their phone while the team works from a shared inbox, that is a real convenience.

3. Channel breadth, from Basic upwards. WhatsApp, the WhatsApp Business API, Messenger, Instagram, email and voice calls can all be connected, with a multichannel inbox from the Basic plan. If your customers genuinely message you on Instagram as much as on WhatsApp, that breadth is worth paying for.

4. Bigger teams and more integrations. The Max plan includes 15 seats and unlimited integrations, and ChatDaddy publishes native integrations with tools such as Shopify and HubSpot. For an established team already running on those tools, that matters.

If any of these four describe your business, ChatDaddy is a reasonable choice. The rest of this post is for small teams for whom they don't.

Where FOXAF wins

1. Half the entry price, with three channels instead of one

FOXAF Starter is $29/month, or $290 a year. ChatDaddy Mini is $59/month billed annually, or $708 a year, and includes one channel. FOXAF Starter includes three: a WhatsApp number linked by QR code, a WhatsApp Cloud API number, and an email channel.

For a two-or-three-person team that lives in WhatsApp, the entry tier is the tier you will actually use for the first year. That is where the difference is largest.

2. A free plan you can stay on, not a trial

ChatDaddy's pricing page offers trial credits with no credit card, which is a fair way to test. But credits run out. FOXAF has a free plan you can stay on indefinitely: 500 contacts and one WhatsApp channel connected by QR code.

That matters more than it sounds. A WhatsApp CRM only proves itself once real customers are in it and your team has built habits around a shared inbox. That takes weeks, not days.

3. Start today, with or without Meta API approval

FOXAF connects WhatsApp two ways: by QR code to a number you already use, or through Meta's official Cloud API. The QR route means a small business can be working in the CRM this afternoon. For high-volume broadcasting, the official Cloud API is the right route, on either product. If you're unsure which you need, see WhatsApp Business API vs App.

4. A full CRM, not just an inbox

FOXAF is an all-in-one CRM built around WhatsApp: pipelines, contacts, campaigns, booking and AI agents in one workspace. ChatDaddy is also more than an inbox, with Kanban pipelines and automation of its own, so this is a smaller gap than the price gap. Compare the two on the job you actually need done.

The cost of growing, honestly

ChatDaddy grows by plan step and by add-on:

ChatDaddy plan Price (billed annually) Channels Seats Active chats/mo
Mini $59/mo 1 3 1,500
Basic $119/mo 2 5 5,000
Pro $299/mo 3 10 10,000
Max $799/mo 5 15 20,000

Extra channels and seats are $29/month each on any plan. Over-limit usage is billed from a wallet: $15 per 1,000 active chats and $9 per 1,000 outbound WhatsApp template messages.

Two honest caveats. First, ChatDaddy's ladder buys you unlimited contacts at every step, which FOXAF does not, so a business with a very large, mostly quiet list may find ChatDaddy cheaper per contact. Second, FOXAF has a monthly send allowance too. Neither product's entry plan is unlimited messaging. Work out your real numbers — channels, seats, monthly conversations — and price both against them.

For Pakistani e-commerce: a note on COD

ChatDaddy's Pakistan guide describes cash-on-delivery confirmation flows, and they are a sensible feature to want: COD is most of Pakistani e-commerce, and unconfirmed COD orders drive return-to-origin losses.

In FOXAF, COD confirmation is on the Pro plan and above, not on Starter. On the WooCommerce integration, a customer taps Confirm or Cancel on WhatsApp and the order status updates in WooCommerce. If COD confirmation is the main reason you're buying, compare the two products at the tier that includes it, not at their entry tiers.

Who should buy which

Buy ChatDaddy if:

  • You have a very large contact list and don't want any cap on it
  • You want Coexistence, so the owner can keep using the WhatsApp Business App on the same number
  • Instagram, Messenger or voice calls are real channels for you
  • You run a larger team on Shopify or HubSpot and want native integrations

Buy FOXAF if:

  • WhatsApp is the channel that decides your month
  • You are a team of two or three and want the lowest real entry price: $29, not $59
  • You want WhatsApp and email at the entry tier without paying per channel
  • You want a free plan you can stay on while you decide
  • You'd rather start this afternoon on a number you already use

Frequently asked questions

What is the best ChatDaddy alternative in 2026?

For small, WhatsApp-first teams, FOXAF is the closest direct alternative: $29/month for three channels and three users, with a free plan you can stay on. ChatDaddy's pricing page starts at $59/month billed annually for one channel. ChatDaddy remains the stronger choice if you need unlimited contacts, Coexistence, or Instagram, Messenger and voice in one inbox.

How much does ChatDaddy cost?

On its pricing page on 16 October 2026, ChatDaddy listed Mini at $59/month, Basic $119, Pro $299 and Max $799, all billed annually, with custom Enterprise pricing. Extra channels and seats cost $29/month each. Older ChatDaddy articles quote lower figures (from about $29/month), so get a written quote before you decide.

Does ChatDaddy have a free plan?

ChatDaddy's pricing page offers trial credits with no credit card required, rather than a permanent free plan. An older ChatDaddy comparison page describes a free plan with one agent, so ask them what applies to you. FOXAF has a free plan you can stay on indefinitely, with 500 contacts and one WhatsApp channel.

Is ChatDaddy cheaper than FOXAF?

At the entry tier, no: ChatDaddy Mini is $59/month billed annually for one channel, and FOXAF Starter is $29/month for three channels. ChatDaddy can work out cheaper per contact for businesses with very large lists, because every ChatDaddy plan has unlimited contacts and FOXAF Starter holds 5,000.

What does ChatDaddy do that FOXAF does not?

Unlimited contacts on every plan; Meta's Coexistence, which runs the API and the WhatsApp Business App on the same number; and Messenger, Instagram, email and voice in one multichannel inbox from its Basic plan.

Does ChatDaddy support Pakistan?

ChatDaddy publishes a Pakistan-focused guide that describes COD confirmation flows, and it can be used by Pakistani businesses. Its pricing page shows prices in US dollars only. FOXAF also prices in US dollars and supports Pakistani businesses, including COD confirmation on its Pro plan and above.

Can I use WhatsApp without waiting for Meta API approval?

With FOXAF, yes: you can link a WhatsApp number you already use by QR code and start the same day, or connect through Meta's official Cloud API. For high-volume broadcasting, the official API is the recommended route on any platform.

Do either of them mark up Meta's WhatsApp fees?

Both say no. FOXAF passes Meta's per-message charges through at cost, and ChatDaddy states zero markup on WhatsApp API messages. Meta's own per-message fees still apply on both.
